The overall conception, design and coordination of this digital project are the responsibility of José Vicente Serrão and Mafalda Soares da Cunha.

The current version of the website was developed by Rui Carapinha, with consulting support from Ivo Santos, at the CIDEHUS – Centro Interdisciplinar de História, Culturas e Sociedades da Universidade de Évora. An earlier version was developed by Alexandra Anokhina under the supervision of Benedetta Albani in the frame of the activities of the research group “Normative knowledge in the praxis of the Congregation of the Council”, active at the Max Planck Institute for Legal History and Legal Theory.
